• Deep clean & seal — ideal for countertops that look dull, hazy, or feel grimy. This handles everyday build-up and restores the natural sheen while re-sealing the pores.
• Stain treatment + clean & seal — for countertops with visible staining from wine, coffee, oil, or rust. We apply a targeted poultice or chemical treatment before cleaning and sealing.
• Etch removal + polish — etching (the dull spots caused by acidic substances like lemon juice or vinegar on polished granite) can often be buffed out and re-polished. We assess this on-site.
• Full replacement — only necessary for countertops with deep cracks, severe structural damage, or warping. If that’s your situation, we’ll tell you honestly.

The simple water test: sprinkle a few drops of water on your granite and watch what happens. If the water beads up, your sealer is still working. If it soaks in and darkens the stone within a few minutes, your granite needs resealing. Most granite countertops should be resealed every 1–3 years depending on usage and the quality of the previous sealer.

Consumer products are formulated for convenience, not performance. Many “granite cleaners” found in grocery stores contain surfactants or waxes that temporarily make the surface look shiny but actually clog the stone’s pores over time, making proper sealing harder. Professional-grade penetrating sealers bond with the stone at the molecular level and last far longer. Our products and equipment also allow us to deep-extract embedded contaminants that surface wiping simply cannot reach.

Compared to replacing your countertops — which can easily run $2,000–$8,000 or more for an average kitchen — professional cleaning and sealing is a very small investment. • Allow the sealer to cure for at least 24 hours before placing anything wet directly on the surface.
• Avoid cutting directly on the sealed surface for 48 hours.
• Keep the surface dry for the first 24 hours after sealing.
• Normal use (placing dry items, light wiping) can typically resume within a few hours depending on the sealer used.

We recommend a professional cleaning and resealing once every 12–24 months for kitchen countertops (which see heavy use and exposure to food, grease, and moisture) and every 2–3 years for bathroom vanities with lighter use. The water-bead test (described above) is the best indicator between professional visits.
